As you will hear in our exclusive conversation (see Podcast below), Shawn Lopez gives us a glimpse of the surfing scene in Maui - primarily at Jaws when it's going off.  Born and raised in Maui, Shawn is planning on opening a store directly across the street so he can give something back to the community.   When asked who inspired him the most, thinking it might be his uncle, the legendary Gerry Lopez, he replied..."It was my dad.  He not only taught me everything I know about surfing, I wouldn't be where I am today without him.  He's saved my life more than once."
