RED BULL RAMPAGE

HISTORY: The Red Bull Rampage is an extreme mountain bike competition that takes place on a near-vertical sandstone ridge in a remote location near Virgin, Utah.  The event was first staged in 2001, but due to the increased risks of injuries, the event was canceled in 2004 but returned in 2008 when wooden features were introduced to what had previously been an all-natural course.  From that point on, the competition took off and never looked back, featuring legends like Brandon Semenuk, American Cameron Zink, Kelly McGarry, and Canadian Kurt Sorge.
