About: Marc Márquez Alentà is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer and one of the most successful motorcycle racers of all time with eight Grand Prix world championships to his name - six of which are in the premier MotoGP class. Márquez races for Honda's factory team since his MotoGP debut in 2013. He is nicknamed the 'Ant of Cervera' worldwide. Márquez is often considered one of the greatest innovators of modern MotoGP racing, due to his comparatively exaggerated cornering technique of leaning so far over the bike he seems to be “in constant danger of sliding out”.

In 2013, a young 20 yr old spaniard Marc Marquez entered the MotoGP circuit. Immediately, the world knew this kid was something special. Marquez made history at the "Circuit of the Americas", where after chasing Dani Pedrosa he made the move to take the lead and held it to the checkered flag becoming the youngest racer ever to win a MotoGP premier class race. It was not his only win for the season, at the end of the series Marc Marquez was crowned World Champion, again the youngest ever to achieve the accolade.
