Karim Kharbouch (born November 9, 1984), better known by his stage name French Montana, is a Moroccan-American hip hop recording artist. Born in Morocco, he immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 13 years old. He is the founder of Coke Boys Records, and its predecessor Cocaine City Records. In 2012, he signed a joint-venture recording deal with Bad Boy Records and Maybach Music Group. French made his mixtape debut in 2007, and released his debut studio album Excuse My French on May 21, 2013. In 2003, he survived a gunshot to the head. Allegedly blackballed by radio and media in his earlier career stemming from his stint with Max B, in 2010, he had his breakthrough with "Choppa Choppa Down". Ed Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer. He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. He attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey, as an undergraduate from the age of 18 in autumn 2009. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (read as "plus"), was released on 9 September 2011 and has since been certified seven-times platinum in the UK. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.
Sheeran's popularity abroad began in 2012. In the US, he made a guest appearance on Taylor Swift's fourth studio album, Red. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John. His second studio album, x (read as "multiply"), was released on 23 June 2014. It peaked at number one in the UK and the US. In 2015, x won the Brit Award for Album of the Year, and he received the Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year. His single from x, "Thinking Out Loud", earned him two Grammy Awards at the 2016 ceremony: Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Sheeran's third album, ÷ (read as "divide"), was released in March 2017. The album debuted at number one in the UK, the US and other major markets. The first two singles from the album, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill", were released in January 2017 and broke records in a number of countrie. Kaleo Kaleo is an Icelandic blues/rock band that formed at Mosfellsbær in 2012. It consists of lead vocalist and guitarist JJ Julius Son (Jökull Júlíusson), drummer David Antonsson, bassist Daniel Kristjansson, and lead guitarist Rubin Pollock. They have released two studio albums, Kaleo (2013) and A/B (2016), as well as an EP, Glasshouse (2013). A/B has sold over 175,000 albums worldwide. DJ Khaled is an American record producer, radio personality, DJ, record label executive, and author. He was a radio host for the Miami-based urban music radio station WEDR and the DJ for the hip hop group Terror Squad. Mike Stud (born October 30, 1988), is an American hip hop recording artist. His first musical recognition came with the release of viral single "College Humor", which he recorded on GarageBand as a joke while he was a relief pitcher at Duke University.
Seander, his real last name, attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, to play baseball. He was named the team's closer as a true freshman. Seander saved 9 games in 28 appearances and earned a 1.61 ERA (lowest in Duke baseball history). Seander suffered from arm issues following his sophomore season that would eventually require Tommy John surgery. After missing the entire 2009 season recovering from the surgery, Seander graduated from Duke on the All-ACC Honor Roll with a 3.4 GPA.
While recovering from surgery Stud turned to music to pass the time. In December 2010, Stud released a music video for "College Humor." Stud stated that he originally made the track as a joke for his baseball teammates. Since its release, the video has been viewed over 1.9 million times (as of June, 2016). In March, Stud followed up his hit with "In This Life", which featured West Coast rapper Alex Lagemann. All three hits were featured on Stud's first mixtape -- A Toast To Tommy, On May 13, 2013, Stud released his debut studio album Relief.
On July 7, 2014, Stud released his second album Closer. On October 30, 2015, he released an 8-track mini-album, This Isn't The Album, a mix of previously released singles and new tracks. On January 12, 2016, Stud released his third studio album, These Days, which includes a feature from Toronto Blue Jays pitcher and former Duke teammate Marcus Stroman.

Migos is an American hip hop trio formed in 2009, from Lawrenceville, Georgia. The trio is composed of three rappers, known by their stage names Quavo, Offset and Takeoff. Migos released their commercial debut single "Versace", in 2013, taken from their mixtape Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas). They went on to release several singles, such as "Fight Night" (2014), "Look at My Dab" (2015) and the chart topping hit "Bad and Boujee" (2016).
The trio released its debut album Yung Rich Nation, in 2015, through Quality Control Music and 300 Entertainment. Its second album, Culture, was released in January 2017 and debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart. Migos are managed by Coach K, the former manager of prominent Atlanta-based rappers Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy, and frequently collaborate with producers DJ Durel, Murda Beatz and Zaytoven.
