ISLE OF MAN TT

HISTORY: The Isle of Man TT is considered the most dangerous motorsport event in the world.  Since its first race in 1907 there have been 242 fatalities. The event consists of one week of practice sessions, followed by one week of racing on the Snaefell Mountain Course for 10 laps. Each lap is at 37.73 miles or 60.72 km with an elevation gain of 1,300 feet.  Although the event is normally held between 30 May and 13 June, the event was canceled between 1940 and 1945 due to World War II, and again in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Source: Wikipedia
